My Little Red Book

One of the most popular books during the Cultural Revolution was the Little Red Book. It got that name because it is tightly bound in a red cover. Red was the sign of a good standing political family. The book was just a bunch of quotes from Chairman Mao. One of the quotes was," We must have faith in the masses and have faith in the Party. These are two cardinal principles. If we doubt these principles we shall accomplish nothing."
